Role Description:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and other key accounting transactions.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure the company’s financial stability.
- Prepare management reports, financial dashboards, and KPIs for executive management.
- Lead and oversee the company’s finance and accounting operations.
- Supervise and develop the finance and accounting team to achieve departmental objectives.
- Provide timely financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop, monitor, and control the annual budget and financial forecasts.
- Analyze financial performance and present recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and risk management procedures.
- Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and fixed assets from a financial perspective.
- Support business planning, financial modeling, investment analysis, and strategic initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, automate reporting, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with department heads to support business growth and achieve organizational goals.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: 7–10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, preferably within the trading sector, including a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Language Proficiency: Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
- Technical Skills: Solid proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Professional Certifications: CMA or CPA (or progress toward certification) is a strong plus.
- Core Competencies: Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
