Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- +3 years of proven experience as proposal engineer.
- Very Good command of English and MS Office.
- Able to meet fixed deadlines and manage under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional efficiency in managing multiple requests/projects in parallel.
- Professional Knowledge of calculus, statistics, and their applications
- Experience in Oil & Gas industrial segments is a plus

Main Responsibilities
Commercial Duties (60 %)
- Responsible for issuing technical and commercial submittals for tenders before closing da
- Manage and co-ordinate the sales queue to ensure that all solutions proposed are provided in accordance with sales team instructions and customer RFQ.
- Responsible for following up open orders until delivery and invoice issuan
- Respond timely and accurately to customers’ requests for information and requests for pricing.
- Manage inquiry / order log sheet.
- Prepare Win / Loss reports to each accoun
- Maintain gross margin agreed on with Sales Account Managers.
- Immediately reports any loss incurred after order placement by customers.
Technical Duties (20%)
- Maintain full up to date technical awareness of the produc
- Assist Sales Team with product enhancement knowledg
- Provide an escalation route for customers and sales team for initial technical and design issues, liaising with the manufacturers to ensure swift responses.
- Reply to customers with and technical clarification
Reporting / Following up (20%)
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual reports about sales figures.
- Attending sales team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues.
- Following up with the Logistics Dept. & Finance Dep any document related to any issued order.
Decision-Making Responsibilities for this position:
- Quote / Decline based on AIG weakness / strengths analysis (decision is taken with Sales Account Manager)
- Gross Profit Margi
- Technical submittal of options complying with customer RFQ.
- Commercial terms and conditions based one AIG history with each customer.
- Delivery logistics and related costs.
